The Combat Glory system awards special kinds of points that are gained by any character for killing opposite faction opponents during a PvP confrontation. For each killed opponent, the player receives a certain amount of Combat Glory Points.

The amount of points earned is based on the levels of the characters engaged in the fight. A player will not gain any profit by killing lower level characters or by chasing the same player again and again. If you fight as a group, Combat Glory Points are equally distributed to all of the group members.

There are two counters for the Combat Glory Points:

-     Victory

-     Glory

The Victory counter tracks how many characters one has killed. This information is stored forever (restrictions may apply if a character is deleted), whereas the Glory counter is reset weekly.

After gaining a specific amount of Combat Glory Points, players will gain ranks. There are four ranks which vary according to the faction players belong to.  The rank achieved provides players with discounts on special items from specific NPC traders of the appropriate faction. The highest rank provides the biggest discount.  After seven days, rank and Combat Glory Points are reset.

Players who are eager to test their PvP skills can enroll in daily quests that grant rewards and involve hunting other faction players. All participants of PvP battles receive reputation for killing other faction players.

Could someone possibly elaborate on this subject? How many Combat Glory do I need to collect for specific ranks?
