Great news for those players who want to know more about Astral Ships and other Astral related stuff. One of Russian Allods Online fansites posted really good guide on this topic written by experienced Astral travellers and fighters.

. Now we have an opportunity to learn more about crew workplaces and functions in astral journeys. Here’s the original guide for those players who know Russian. And here we’ll post the most interesting parts of this and other guides we’ve found on that site.
General Info
This is how fully repaired ship looks like for player who is responsible for her shields and reactor management. I’ll describe this and other crew roles later and now let’s look at transparent objects that surround our vessel. Each of them has “100%” status which means that the ship is either new or just has been repaired. We can see shields, cannons, navigation systems and reactor status. If one of these system gets 0% status it becomes damaged and can’t be used by players until repaired. Btw, the ship’s name (in the upper-right corner of the screen) is Leeroy Jenkins 
How one can get a ship like this? In RU OBT version of the game it requires 100 ‘real days’ to build it and 1500 gold and highest reputation with 4 endgame factions to start construction process. Construction time can be shortened to 33 days if ship owner completes special quests in heroic dungeons every day. It may seem too long or too difficult to accomplish but I think it was done intentionally to make Astral Ships really rare. Like epic flymounts in World of Warcraft BC addon. One ship can carry full group of 6 players so even those who don’t have their own ship will be able to fly and fight in Astral.

I, Lollipop, have written a lengthy astral guide in the official US forums (astral section). Demon information was left out of the guide so possibly some of this data can be integrated into Lollipop’s guide. I aim to get information out there for all new and current ship owners and anyone interested in navigation and ship functions. The guide will continue to grow with new allod/demon information without revealing the fun of figuring out boss fights or mapping etc.

Btw, in CBT4 Ship construction is 3 to 6 days (3 if you do all quests and stuff)…

I think that in NA CBT4 they’ll shorten build time – don’t believe that CBT will last for 100+ days. I’ve also heard about battleship but never seen any prooflinks. Maybe other readers have some info to share? Anyway I’ll keep googling

Has the building process been sped up for the NA CBT4 since it mentions a 100 day build time or the 33 day shortcut? I imagine that is the case, but hoping it goes back to the longer build times for release.
People keep mention that there is a raid version called a “battleship” that you can buy from the CS. Just wondering if this functions the same as well.

I see that ship speed is measured in knots not in m/s in NA version. Real sea wolves use right words
