Treasure Hunter’s Guide

Treasure hunting is one of the most profitable activities in Allods Online. It can provide your character with constant flow of money and good equipment if you collect treasure chests on daily basis. I’ll start the guide with some explanation for those who are new to the game.

In AO every location has at least one “treasure chest”. It is not always a chest, literally, but that make no big difference. “Treasure chests” have a “repeatable quest” icon above them and they realy give you daily repeatable quests. When you take this quests, you can finish them immediately by clicking on the chest again. Quest rewards include some experience points and a treasure chest with random green or blue quality item. Those items can be equiped or sold to vendor or at an auction. You must have an appropriate level to the location where treasure chest is to take the quest.

When server economy is young and undeveloped, chest rewards are the main source of income for characters. Considering the fact, that you’ll need 1500 gold for own astral ship on level 40, it’s recommended to start thinking about gold from the very beginning of the game
